Celebrating Memorial Day Weekend at Lake of the Ozarks

People from all over are flooding to the Lake of the Ozarks to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend. For most, this weekend will be spent with family and friends. Wondering what events are taking place this holiday weekend? SmartPostal Centers has gathered information on all the events, live music and firework displays happening in the Lake Area. Putting for Patriots

What: The 10th Annual Putting for Patriots fundraiser is a national event that will occur simultaneously at 33 Pirate’s Cove, Pirate’s Island and Jungle Golf miniature golf courses throughout the U.S. It will support three charities, which serve our wounded veterans, their families and survivors of the fallen. These organizations include Hope for the Warriors, Homes for our Troops and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. Pirate’s Cove, and all affiliated miniature golf courses, will donate a percentage of their total sales throughout Memorial Day Weekend. Live Music


Rivertown & Contagious Live in Concert

What: To celebrate Memorial Day Weekend H. Toad’s Summer Concert Series has extended their show with music Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Rivertown is a high energy Country Pop cover band. From Little Big Town to Fleetwood Mac, Rivertown has it all! Contagious is a rock band out of St. Louis. They create a party atmosphere while performing songs identical to the original.

When: May 27 – May 29; 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. each night

Blackberry Smoke Live in Concert

What: This is an all ages event. Tickets are $25 in advanced and will be $30 the day of the show. 
Blackberry Smoke is an American Southern rock/country band from Atlanta, GA.

Where: Picklehead’s Roadhouse

When: May 28; Gates open at 5:00 p.m.

Aaron Lewis with Special Guest ChristiAna

What: Aaron Lewis is a Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer, songwriter and guitarist who performs traditional country music.

Where: Ozarks Amphitheater

When: May 29; Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and show starts at 8:00 p.m.

Drew Baldridge Live in Concert

What: Drew Baldridge is a country artist who recently signed with THiS Music/Warner Chappell. This all ages concert will have no cover charge.

Where: Picklehead’s Roadhouse

When: May 29; Gates open at 5:00 p.m.

Firework Shows


Bear Bottom Resort

May 28 – 29; 9:45 both nights.

This family-friendly event will include live entertainment by Slick Nickle, bounce houses, S’mores and much more! Parking is limited, so arrive early. Fireworks can be viewed by land at Bear Bottom Resort or by water at the 38 MM.

The Inn at Grand Glaize

May 28; Show begins at dusk.

The show can be seen from the water at the 1 MM of the Glaize arm, or from land at The Inn.
